To design, construct, supervise, operate, and maintain large construction projects and systems, including roads, buildings, railway, bridges
Duties and Responsibilities
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Using a range of computer packages for developing detailed designs
• Undertaking complex and repetitive calculations
• Planning,scheduling, and managing cash flow using Primavera/MS-Project
• liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
• Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
• Resolving design and development problems
• Managing budgets and project resources
• Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
• Making sure the project complies with legal requirements
• Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
• Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time
Education & Experience
• Graduate of Civil Engineering studies (Dipl.-Ing. / Mag. Ing. or Bacc.)
• Expert level Microsoft project and Primavera P6 knowledge / experience required
• Minimum 7 years experience as civil engineer in a construction or engineering company
• Experience in cost estimating and scheduling
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
