الوصف الوظيفي Reports to: Regional Procurement Manager Job Purpose: The Procurement Specialist is responsible for performing many activities related to the procurement of goods and services for the company, including soliciting quotes, creating purchase orders, obtaining proper PO approvals and communicating orders to suppliers. Follow up on delivery and pending Invoices if any. Key Accountabilities: · Review/analyze purchase daily requisitions. · Request/review quotes create purchase orders and handle general supplier correspondence. · Communicate approved orders to suppliers, solicit confirmation of receipt and verify acceptability of delivery dates. · ·Maintain accurate purchasing information in various systems. · Communicate and liaise with suppliers and internal department to ensure efficient/effective operations and build positive relationships. · Maintain necessary documentation to ensure efficient/effective execution of purchasing activities. · Expedite deliveries and resolve other issues associated with purchase requests. · Occasional travel to market in order to gain a better understanding of processes and the needs of our internal department requisitions. · Manage any procurement activities including RFP’s (Request For Proposals) · Follow SOPs for the Procurement Department. · Any other task given by Direct Manager Lives and Advocates the Bateel Values: · Quality · Innovation · Authenticity · Integrity People Excellence (internal/external customer engagement and relationship management): · To create an environment which is a great place to work for you and your colleagues through your dedication, enthusiasm, sharing of knowledge, honesty and desire to support others. · To display excellent standards in all you do and inspire others to do the same, and that you operate within legislative/regulatory and company policies and procedures. · To display confidence, self-belief and openness to new ideas, adapting and embracing challenges and opportunities with a determination to excel. · Continuously develop own skills by attending all required training courses and maintaining an up to date knowledge of products, services, systems and work processes. المهارات · Prior purchasing experience required. · Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook · Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred · Professional working proficiency in both verbal and written English Qualification and Licenses requirement: · High school degree required. · UAE Driving License (preferred) تفاصيل الوظيفة https://www.bayt.com/ar/uae/jobs/procurement-specialist-4160536/ |
