We are seeking a Vice President to lead our Commercial Insurance Sales function, which comprises a large team of multi-tiered Territory Managers who all operate in a fast-paced and hyper-growth sales environment.
The VP will be involved in the design of our sales objectives and high-level strategies alongside our Chief Commercial Officer and will have full ownership of executing our Commercial sales strategy in alignment with our company’s mission, OKRs, and cultural principles. This leader will be heavily involved in hiring, onboarding, ramping up, and retaining top tier talent at scale while delivering Bayzat’s annual revenue targets. A substantial part of this role is strategic in nature and will require close alignment with other parts of the organization including Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, HR and Finance teams, to name a few! The successful incumbent will need to demonstrate a proven track record of success in Commercial Insurance Sales using a value-driven sales approach. You will possess strong sales leadership experience, having sold Group Medical Insurance to SMEs and/or enterprise companies. The successful incumbent must have served in a leadership capacity (i.e. VP, Director, or C-Leve) for no less than five years.

No less than 10 years of experience in insurance sales, at least 5 of which in a leadership capacity.
Hold a proven track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive revenue targets at both individual contributor (early on in your career) and leadership capacities.
Proven track record in recruiting, coaching, developing and retaining top tier, high-performing talent. You are passionate about creating significant business impact; you are a true problem-solver.
A strong communicator, enabler and effective influencer. Your authenticity in your leadership allows others to naturally trust and follow you.

An ability to lead whilst maintaining an appropriate balance between strategy and operations (30% strategy and 70% operational execution).
You are an inquisitive and curious by nature; you are proactive about finding ways for things to work better and faster.
You are a persistent problem-solver who embraces uncertainty and ambiguity, always finding creative solutions to obstacles and difficult business problems.
You simply love winning! You never have any backup plans that justify failure. You instill the same mindset in people around you.
You are exceptionally strong at coaching your teams, and hold a successful track record in developing several members into exceptional leaders
You consonantly encourage debate and two-way feedback, and prefer operating in flat/nonhierarchical organizational structures
Complacency is never an option for you because you are constantly hungry and a life-long learner.
Familiarity with what it takes to operate and lead within scaling, fast-paced, hyper-growth sales environments.
