Manager - Delivery Management System (DMS)

The Delivery Management System (DMS) is the application used by Expo 2020 to regulate the flow of vehicles entering the Expo 2020 Site. The incumbent of this role will assist the Distribution Manager in the management of the DMS and of the DMS team.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

- Support the Manager, Distribution in the management of the DMS platform and the DMS Users;

- Assist Voyage Control in communicating changes to the DMS that must be made per the BRD; make additional changes to the site as you see fit;

- Work directly with the Distribution Manager to identify the DMS schedules of all Functional Areas, departments and external stakeholders during all phases of the Expo 2020 Dubai event;

- Act as the face of the DMS for internal and external stakeholders;

- Work with external stakeholders, especially the likes of DWTC, to guarantee that their operations are fully managed via the DMS and are feasible given the various constraints on site;

- Work with the relevant Expo 2020 personnel and external stakeholders to ensure that an aggressive load-out strategy is feasible and can be managed on the DMS;

- Work with the Scheduling and Fleet Management teams within Distribution to align scheduling across all phases of the Expo 2020 Dubai event and with all internal and external stakeholders;

- Develop and update Expo training sessions for new project controllers joining the DMS User Community;

- Give weekly and requested training’s to the DMS User Community and act as the primary liaison to answer .all DMS User specific training inquiries;

- Educate DMS Staff in how to administer training’s.

المهارات
6+ years’ experience in customer service and/or systems management:

- A Bachelors Degree within a relevant field;

- Experience managing personnel and being responsible for a team of individuals;

- Experience in the use of scheduling and/or and transport systems;

- Excellent experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office;

- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English ability to express complex concepts clearly and simply;

- Experience in resource rostering and scheduling;

- Experience in major events;

- Understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
