Technical Lead

Role Purpose:

The Tech Lead owns the architectural decisions for the team; an executor and the visionary force behind the technical solution. The Tech Lead will drive the teams engineering practices in test driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment and a hands-on team member who actively coaches the team to solve complex problems.

Role Summary:

Design the overall technological architecture of the product with the help of the team
Guide project teams on technology strategy related to coding practices, continuous integration and automated deployment
Technical design of the product
Mentor and coache the technical team, specifically with code reviews
Be hands on and engage in coding to help the team to develop his solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand Identifies and removes technical impediments
Work with Product Owner to align the roadmap with strengths and opportunities within the technical stack
Thought partner with the Product owner in story creation and acceptance criteria, and communicate tradeoffs effectively with Designers
Constantly looking for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo
Provide the team a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher code quality
Share responsibility with Product Owner for building reusable and scalable components
Work closely with all team members to create a modular, scalable solution that addresses/incorporates future architectural changes and designs
المهارات
Minimum Qualifications/Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software design, management information systems engineering or a related field and or relevant direct job experience
Minimum Experience

Minimum 5 years’ in engineering/technology roles and process automatization within agile environments (incl. focus on process automation)
At least 2 years of leadership skills in delivering projects.
Skills

Experience in Agile Development, with specific Solution Architect (or similar) experience preferred
Understands relationship with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Design Lead and rest of technical team p
Experience managing technical priorities within the Backlog
Seasoned developer or technical lead with deep insight into newest technologies and trends, Java/JVM, and nice to have experience with functional programming (Scala)
Be able to code and architect back and front end solutions with multiple types or architecture expert within the technical components of the domains/products/journeys
Familiar with production Cloud / DevOps environments
Can make architecture decisions at a team and product level
Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions
Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize the team’s potential
English (Full professional proficiency - Required)
Arabic is an advantage
