Designing and implementing relevant infrastructure with a focus on scalability, integration, disaster recovery and security
Recommending, implementing, documenting and maintaining system configurations, and system software maintenance to ensure that systems perform within specification and that users of the systems can use them as required
Evaluating existing applications and platform, making recommendations for improving performance
Deploying new modules, upgrades and fixes to the production environment
Leading disaster recovery building, implementation and ongoing testing
Tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
Designing and developing infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
Developing and maintaining configuration management solutions
Developing test automation frameworks in collaboration with rest of the team
المهارات
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or IT
10+ years of total work-experience
Experience with Linux Administration
Experience working in a cloud environment (preferably AWS)
Strong knowledge of scripting languages – Shell script, Python etc.
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services (eg - Tomcat, PostgreSQL, HAProxy, nginx)
Strong grasp of confguration management tools (eg - Chef, Ansible and Puppet)
Familiarity with load balancing and frewalls
Profcient with network tools (eg - iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy)
Experience with virtualization technologies (eg – KVM, Vmware)
Experience with containers and container orchestration tools (eg - Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Apache Mesos)
Experience with logging and monitoring tools (eg - Logstash, Kibana, Graylog2)
Ability to build, monitor and optimize services on production server
Strong communication skills in spoken and written English
