A digital video game retailer is looking for a Senior E-Commerce Manager with relevant experience and skills to join the team. The purpose of this role is to manage projects, operations, technicalities and oversee a team of developers and other employees executing the work. This role will suit someone who is organised, dynamic and experienced in e-commerce. A qualified E-Commerce Manager has 3-5 years experience managing e-commerce operations.
Responsibilities:
Managing operational activity: overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure that goals are achieved and that business objectives are met
Team Management and Progress Monitoring
Leading the team in the identification of roles and responsibilities
Supporting the team by introducing new process improvement initiatives that increase quality and efficiency
Developing remedies to problems and issues by bringing the right people into the resolution process at the right time
Managing projects, owning all business communications and ensuring that any training or other necessary arrangements have been made
Identifying and resolving project roadblocks
Anticipating and managing risks and issues related to projects
Monitoring project timelines and progress, pro-actively flagging any delays or missed milestones.
Consulting with the client on best practices and processes for delivering and maintaining solutions
Work closely with web development and technical teams to identify and resolve technical issues and break down complex technical requirements into manageable tasks

Requirements:
3-5 years experience in managing e-commerce operations
3-5 years managing software projects in an eCommerce context (Magento 1, 2, Laravel)
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including polished presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills and time management
Highly skilled in conflict management, leadership and critical thinking
A passion for online/digital
Positive mindset and teamwork spirit
