Naval Architect

We are hiring an Experienced Naval Architect with following mandatory requirements.
• Should be capable for preparing concept design based on client provided data and requirement. Concepts design which includes for proposal;
• General arrangement plan
• Power balance
• Single line diagram
• Equipment list
• Should be familiar with Client requirements & approval for design & newbuilding.
• Should be familiar in writing of the newbuilding specifications inclusive the Maker’s list.
• To issue approved newbuilding specifications to ship builders.
• Should be familiar with the evaluation of bids.
• Should be familiar in preparation of newbuilding contract, with assistance of legal and finance department.
• Should be familiar with engineering phase, rules and regulations compliance, to approve drawings, to revise calculations, to assess and approve subcontractors, to evaluate supply agreement and to select equipment
• Should be familiar with project management and supervising.
• The above position is to work as Client Representative and may need to travel extensively within UAE & Abroad
