Urgently looking for Transmission Systems Engineer to be based in Dubai, UAE
Developing technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution.
Ensuring interoperability amongst various transport networks (SDH/PDH/DWDM/OTN) and (Microwave or Wimax) equipment.
Configuring and troubleshooting of transport technologies, networks, and services.
Identifying and documenting network errors and solutions.
Analyzing network and telecommunications alarms and live network data to identify potential issues.
Configuring, testing, installation, troubleshooting, and maintaining network devices such as firewalls, cryptographic devices, and transport devices to optimize performance and ensure the desired survivability and security posture is attained and maintained.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with configuring, troubleshooting, testing, systems design, implementation specifically in Oil and Gas.
Knowledge in various transmission equipment Huawei, Lucent, Cisco, Nortel, Marconi, Fujitsu etc.
