Safety Officer Responsibilities 1. Qualification in Bachelor of Engineering / NEBOSH IGC. 2. A minimum of 5 years prior experience in same field such as Oil & Gas is preferred. 3. To take regulatory enforcement action proportional to the case and in-line with the principles of better regulation. 4. Prepare and send correspondence relating to audits, inspections and other matters relating to petroleum sites; 5. Prepare evidence for Authority on technical matters concerning petroleum sites. This may include statements, exhibits, plan drawings, photographs and other similar matters; 6. Prepare Petroleum Certificates for dispensing sites, including plan drawings and other statutory documents, and send to site operators. Liaise with site operators when preparing such documents. 7. Undertake environmental searches relating to sites and consider technical information relating to environmental risks; 8. To prepare reports and appropriate documentation related to petroleum safety inspections; To Make the Calibration Certificates for fuel pump and fuel nozzle ,Fuel meter & Fuel data’s analysis system and Fuel capacity analysis meter . 9. To record information on inspections for statistical purposes using the Service’s database. Monitor the vehicle moments for the safe Fuelling . 10. Earthing inspections to be done and arranged the records and inspected the earthing always &Arrange;the Earthing inspections Third party Certificates for the petrol pump. 11.
