Souq Planet is hiring a Buying Manager, His duties will include, but not limited to the following:
Meeting, managing, assessing, engaging, and motivating suppliers.
Developing and proposing exciting, relevant, and evolving themes and products
Follow market trends to refresh, maintain and increase customer interest and engagement with products range
Identify, assess and monitor additional information/data which could be used in decision making
Plan, prepare and carry out BDA negotiations
Prepare presentations for both internal and external use, taking into account market information, product performance, and commercial considerations
Manage, develop and motivate a group of buyers and purchase officers.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Retail Buying experience.
• Effective leadership, motivation, and people management
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to plan ahead to meet deadlines with a high level of personal organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge in various categories in supermarkets (fresh food, food, and none foods.)
