Hiring KN is looking for a Wastewater Process Engineer (senior/management level) for a large scale of waste water treatment plant projects in the UAE.
• Perform process design & engineering of new and rehabilitation/upgrade of industrial water & municipal wastewater treatment plant projects
• Lead meetings with clients & project team to establish project objectives & to coordinate and/or resolve design problems
• Develop process & hydraulic simulation models & optimize designs
• Perform conceptual, preliminary & detail process design of units & unit operations for water and wastewater treatment
• Develop design basis, mass & energy balances, process flow diagrams & P&IDs;• Size process equipment & prepare data sheets
• Perform heat & material balance, hydraulic & relief protection calculations
• Check & assist designers & drafters in their assignments related to mechanical construction
• Prepare and/or supervise engineering reports, studies, calculations & check drawings
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs & vendor bid evaluations
• Participate in the generation of proposals, scopes, schedules & budgets on mechanical engineering work
• Prepare design milestones & schedules, staffing schedules and man-hour estimates
