Head of Communications

Axios International is seeking a Head of Communications to join the team in Business Bay, Dubai.

Reporting to the CEO, the role holder be responsible for the overall communications strategy for the company, including corporate, internal and client communications initiatives. Primarily, (s)he will be responsible for consolidating Axios’ image as the leader in Access to Medicines and capable of scaling up Market Access programs through compelling, technically rich, and results-driven communications.

The incumbent needs to be a strong strategic thinker, manager and implementer, with a proven track record of delivering campaigns that drive business results. The role holder should have past experience in the healthcare field working with pharmaceutical companies, key opinion leaders and policymakers. In addition, experience working across the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America would be welcome.

المهارات
The Head of Communications should be a native English speaker and writer, with a BA or MA in communications, journalism, marketing or related field. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years’ experience, ideally including 2-3 years in a communications agency environment.
