We are looking for a young and ambitious Interior Designer - FFE specialist, who will be part of the small design team working on the concept design for projects in the UAE and Europe.
Currently a temporary position for 2-3 months (Project base).
Responsibilities and Principal Accountabilities:
Understanding project requirements in terms of FFE
Actively participating in specifying the materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and sanitary fixtures. Elaborating specification sheet until final sign-off from Client.
Organizing material samples and storing them labeled. Keeping track of revisions
Preparation of material boards for both in-house reviews and client presentation.
Design research for the latest styles, trends in the world of furniture brands, lighting, FFE.
Understanding the standard space requirements and furniture sizes & placement while working on design proposals.
Following design process – using templates, procedures, and standards that are implemented.
Searching for new suppliers and maintaining positive relationships with existing suppliers and teams.
Assisting in preparation of material board for in-house review and Client presentation.
المهارات
Desirable Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
5 years minimum experience in residential Interior Design in UAE - especially in FFE
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign
Thorough knowledge of brands and suppliers worldwide for soft finishes, decoration, furniture.
Team player with good communication and organization skills and great time management.
