Your Role:
The MU Quality - AMET handles all aspects of Quality Management, like strategy, standard setting, program definition and compliance checking are within the scope/responsibility of the role.
The role owns the company QMS (Quality Management System). The role takes decisions that directly impact design and execution of the E2E SC improving the TeaCo ability and capability to deliver and improve consumer safety and quality of products in the marketplace, impacting TeaCo reputation and brand equity.
Your Key Tasks:
Quality Strategy
•
Leads the creation of the TeaCo Quality strategy, understands Quality implications and defines new Quality capabilities needed and provides linkage and input to the global TeaCo strategy
Quality Standards
•
Defines and maintains Quality Standards for the Tea Company using agreed methodology and links to Brand Performance Standards
•
Defines Quality requirements for Licensing, Franchise and Distributor contracts through Quality manuals and written standards
Quality Improvement
•
Drives (initiates, leads or supports) Quality improvement projects to drive Quality improvement using data analysis, workshops, toolkits
•
Identifies and provides coordination of improvement activities between local, market and global LTs for systemic cross-market issues
•
Reports global quality performance and works with the relevant functions/units to drive improvement where needed
Quality in Operations
•
Owns global Quality Incident management in TeaCo for marketplace incidents and follow up actions
•
Supports Quality deployment through WCM tools and ensures replication of manufacturing Quality solutions for Quality improvement across the company networks
•
Ensures mechanisms are in place to monitor conformance to global quality processes & requirements and that any gaps are addressed as needed.
•
Provides quality expert support for global business initiatives/projects to ensure any potential quality risks are identified and mitigated appropriately
•
Participates in or leads Quality Expert Interventions as needed
Quality Leadership
•
Integrates (connects and harmonises) Quality processes within the Tea Company primarily between R&D;, Brand and Supply Chain
•
Provides Quality leadership to influence Quality Culture and Mindset in LTs through activities, visibility, and coaching
Skills and Experience
•
University degree in a technical discipline
•
>5 year experience in Quality roles in FMCG
•
Quality Leadership in business organisations
•
Quality expertise in Operations
•
Product and Technology knowledge and expertise for Tea
•
Cross functional Influencing
•
Ability to work independent in a virtual (global) environment
