Do you have the following:
•Based in Dubai or Riyadh, or willing to locate.
•Previously worked with a high-scale/complex product (e.g involve complex business problems, FinTech, etc.)
•Manage and built engineering teams.
•Enjoy writing code till date and can roll-up his/her sleeve to rapid delivery
•Software Development Experience:
•12+ years of practical experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development.
•Solid understanding of advanced software architecture and design patterns (e.g. Microservices, Domain Driven Design, Event-Driven Architecture, etc.)
•Strong experience in databases (SQL and NoSQL) and database design, and ElasticSearch.
•Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs
•Experience knowledge in DevOps: AWS & GCP, CI/CD, etc.
•Management & Leadership:
•6+ years of experience in leading and managing an engineering organization
•Experience managing cross-functional teams of back-end & front-end engineers, quality assurance, data science, and DevOps.
•Experience with working with and managing a remote team.
•Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development.
•Excellent in written communication and documentation practice.
•We prefer a talent who has:
•Provide technical leadership and advice to the co-founders.
•Lead software design, tech-stack, and technological decisions
•Worked with an early stage startup, and scaled the platform, process, and engineering team
•Experience in mentoring and growing talent in software development (Seniors, juniors, or interns)
•Built a tech team from scratch (Hiring)
•Contribution to open source community, tech-meet-ups, etc.
