Project Accountant

The Warrior Group is hiring a Project Accountant for Dubai office.
The role;
The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, conducting cyclical audits, filing tax returns, etc. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor & reconcile bank accounts and petty cash.
• Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries, and financial statements.
• Providing tax planning services with reference to current legislation.
• Financial forecasting and risk analysis.
• Meeting and working with clients.
• Managing colleagues, workloads, and deadlines.
• Preparing and submitting applicable tax returns.
• Preparing payroll through WPS.
• Handling quotes, LPOs, and invoices.
• Handling & recording of purchases, payments, sales, and receivables.
• Handling & maintaining Ledger accounts.
• Cash flow tracking and projection planning.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
• 2-3 years of proven work experience in UAE
• Preparing and reporting of financial statements.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT practices and specifications.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping.
• Knowledge in Tally ERP and cloud accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Extroverted and experienced in dealing with the client under pressure.
• Organization and attention to detail.
• Skilled in analytical problem solving.
• Excellent time management.
• Mathematical and deductive reasoning.
• An active learner wanting to grow.
• Adaptable to new environment.
• Presentable, confident and great at communicating.
