Hiring Sustainability Consultant
EMS Sustainability Team are seeking an individual who is passionate about sustainability, innovative, and wants to add value to the built environment and the organization working with.
Job Description
• Responsible for sustainability and energy performance related deliverables
• Manage Green building (LEED, Estidama, WELL, Mostadam) and authority approval projects.
• Develop sustainability strategies/ specifications to meet target certification/ authority requirements.
• Writing/ editing reports and presenting Sustainability/ LEED frameworks to clients, design teams and contractors.
• Regularly visit sites to keep the contractors up to date on the requirements and to ensure the criteria are stringently followed.
• Work closely with various consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers to evaluate and implement sustainable solutions.
• Manage documentation process, perform calculations, make reports etc., and duly submit the documents to the certification body/ concerned authority.
• Execute Energy Modeling & Simulation, Daylight simulation, using software such as IES VE, eQuest, etc.
• Coordinate Green building Commissioning requirements to meet target certification/ authority compliance.
• Track projects timeline, invoice, delivery schedule, and collections.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, or electrical, or energy engineering
• Experience in sustainability field – 3 to 5 years.
• LEED AP BD+C, Estidama PQP PBRS & PCRS, WELL AP accreditations a must
• LEED AP O&M;preferred.
• Well versed with Energy, daylighting & Thermal modeling software such as IES VE, eQuest, Design Builder, Radiance, etc
• High proficiency in AutoCAD
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel in the GCC & MENA region for project work.
