Job Responsibilities:
Lead, inspire and motivate the store team to meet key store KPIs such as sales targets, ATV, ATU, conversion rates, shrinkage targets, and customer satisfaction ratings
Work closely with the Area Manager to set, review and monitor KPIs for each division within the store and communicate targets to the store team
Hold daily meetings with the store team to review store performance identify / resolve any issues that may prevent the store from achieving its targets
Monitor store expenditure in order to ensure that the operating cost is in line with agreed operational budgets
Monitor, review and track all store activities to ensure they are in line the company’s operating policies and procedures and ISO Audit standards
Monitor and review all in store procedures and make recommendations to improve efficiency ensuring all recommendations have been reviewed and signed off by the Area manager before implementation
Ensure standard operating procedures to prevent / minimize any losses through damage and shrinkage are adhered to at all times
Ensure the store is in line with the visual merchandising instructions of the Brand
Process balance cash registers with receipts and handle customer refunds and complaints
Handle customer complaints and ensure there is a focus on service recovery to enhance customer satisfaction
Ensure goods received by the stores are cross checked with the Good Transfer Note (GTN) and report any discrepancies
Train / coach store teams in line with brand guidelines. Utilize effectively the coaching tools provided by the Brand/ Company.
Lead, coach and manage the performance of staff in line with good people management practices.( utilize effectively PDP’s, PIP’s)
From time to time perform other duties as directed by the department manager .
Detailed Buying feedback to be provided to brand team at the end of every seasons
To ensure regular replenishment is in place as per the process defined.
Make commercial decisions based on the analysis of Department Contribution Report, Margin Report and Buy Plan Report
To ensure stock loss action plan is in place, and Perpetual stock take to be done as per the SOP
Regular self store audit to be done as per the auditors checklist to ensure the compliances.
Ensure the safety of company cash & Non-cash assets which include Cash/GVs/Credit note & other physical assets
Plan and manage the store team schedule.
Analyze the business and take the necessary commercial decisions.
Provide Area/Ops Manager with the quality product .feedback.
Create and implement the store succession plan (utilizing PDP’s).
Execute all the Operations/Brand team directions.
Ensure the store is implementing the marketing strategies as per the communication received by the Brand/ Ops or Marketing team.
Delegate store team’s areas of responsibilities and monitor its execution.
Organize and manage the BOH processes.

Qualifications and Experience:
College Diploma.
Minimum of 5 years experience.
Previous industry experience required.
Previous management experience required.
