This role is responsible to head the team to plan, design, and furnish interiors of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. The main focus is to formulate a design that is practical, aesthetic, and beneficial to the pursued purposes, such as raising productivity, selling merchandise, or improving lifestyle.

main tasks:

Responsible for managing a team and projects from a design, and technical perspective;
Determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, and purpose and function;
Plan interior design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination;
Develop and improve the plan to be practical, esthetic, and beneficial to the intended purposes, such as raising productivity;
Select or design, and purchase furnishings, artworks, and accessories;
Render design ideas in form of drawings;
Create comprehensive mood boards and sample boards;

who you are

You are a passionate and ambitious Interior Design professional. You love your work as an Interior Designer, combining artistic skills with a detail-oriented nature. You are the best at getting excellent performances within the different projects, leading the team of other designers, visualizers and drafters.

skills & competencies:

Highly creative, imaginative and artistic;
Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision;
Excellent leadership skills;
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp or similar design software.
education & qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field;
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Interior Design, with main focus on commercial fit out;
Portfolio of design work in commercial fit out (offices);
Project management experience;
Working experience on projects in Singapore or Hong Kong is advantage;
Willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE.
