JOB PURPOSE
The Credit Analyst will be primarily responsible for supporting on a range of Credit reporting and Accounts receivables duties relating to the Rapid Access business including Bad debt calculation, DSO, legal collections, budgeting, forecasting, credit analysis and monthly -quarterly and yearly closing, in addition to improving the management information system.
The role holder will have a strong head for numbers, MS Excel-, Power queries-power pivots- MS PowerPoint and strong analytical skills. They will also have a broad accounting experience including handling analysis of AR, budgeting, forecasting, creation, and maintenance of Group reports like management accounts – Group budget templates and others.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work on automating and enhancing the Accounts Receivables and credit reporting structure
Manage and update the reports for bad debt, DSO, legal collections & reports for aged debt analysis
Forecast and Budget Bad debt, AR balances & collections data for detailed costs PNL, preparing required reports to Management
Prepare and analyse different variance reports for actuals – budgets – forecast and PY
Manage and update the credit function database and ensure accuracy of the numbers
Ensure Collection Reports are regularly updated with all the reporting metrics
Set up and manage the Credit Controllers’ scorecard and activities dashboard
Set up and manage credit limits by customer
Preparation of Group budget templates files related to AR and Credit
Work with the Credit Control Team on ad hoc analysis and assisting with reconciliations
Cover up the Commercial Analyst tasks when she /he is on leave

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
The chosen candidate will meet ALL the essential criteria below:
ESSENTIAL
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Two to three years’ Experience in power pivot & power queries or power BI.
Reporting skills
Ability to analyse figures and evaluate financial information
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Proven work experience as an Accountant with a good understanding of accounting principles and procedures
DESIRABLE
Experience working in the Powered Access, Industrial or related industry.
Professional qualification (completed or part qualified) such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CMA.
Knowledge of working with figures expressed in multiple currencies, and in accurate FX translations.
Basic knowledge of relational database management systems.
