About the role Do you have experience as an Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable, within the hospitality industry? Have you managed staff? If the answer is yes to these questions, then Atlantis, Dubai is waiting for your application. As an Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable, you will ensure the completeness and accuracy of all payments in a timely manner and generally assist the Manager, Accounts Payable and others in the Finance department. You will also ensure the departmental operations manual including policies, procedures and task list as well as government regulations is followed, and ensure all subordinates are aware of and follow the operations manual, providing training as appropriate. Other duties will include making sure Invoices match the Purchase Order and/or other documentation including, where there is no PO, test-checking of pricing against contracts etc. You will also take responsibility for the department in the absence of the Manager, Accounts Payable. About you The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management with focus on Finance or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, in a 5-star international chain, or large resort.
