Urgent Opening for a Data Operations role,
Job Description:
• Experience in administrating cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge and experience using data engineering tools, technologies and languages (i.e. Python, Scala, SQL, SPARK, Hadoop).
• Experience building data lake solutions leveraging one or more of following ETL tools like Azure Synapse, AWS EMR, Azure Data Factory, Qubole, Big Query, AWS Athena, Redshift.
• Experience with stream and batch processing systems: Spark-Streaming, Kafka, Hive, Presto etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud Security, Microsoft Azure Security, Microsoft AIP.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting tools (Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau), databases (SQL Server), partially structured data (XML, json), and ETL frameworks
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPN’s, DNS, load balancing and firewall.
• Broad understanding of tools and technologies such as Source Control, Continuous Integration, Infrastructure Automation, Deployment Automation and Orchestration, Container Concepts, Orchestration, and Cloud.
• Proven experience in technical architecting and operational experience in cloud environment.
Minimum Qualifications/Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent experience
• 5+ Years hands-on experience in data domain
• 5+ Years’ experience with Cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure) and software engineering.
• 2+ Years’ experience with Azure Synapse, Redshift, Big Query, Airflow, Spark, Hadoop, Oracle, SQL, Document DB.
• Cloud Certification (AWS and/or Azure)
• Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC
