We are looking for a “Senior Quantity Surveyor” to join our team in the UAE. He / She should Follow up closely on the projects’ financial and contractual relationships and make sure that the financial position of the projects is accurately reported and controlled effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
• Preparation of monthly payment applications
• Preparation of monthly payment certificates for suppliers and subcontractors
• Follow-up with clients on payment certificates and payments
• Follow-up and coordination with the project managers on site for work progress
• Project cost monitoring and cost control across all departments (including procurement, engineering, factory, accounting, and site)
• Preparation of cost control sheets (budget vs. cost incurred)
• Valuation of variations
• Quantity take-off
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QS
• Knowledge in Contracts (FIDIC or others)
• Engineering degree is a plus
• QS certification (MRICS or other) is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Good analytical skills
• Good English writing skills
