Hiring Head of Data Governance and Compliance Officer
Job Location: Abu Dhabi
Contract Duration: 1 Year - Extendable
Job Description:
• Future technologies and technology experience around Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, SAS, Cloud Platforms, etc.
• Commitment of government agencies in Abu Dhabi to the standards and policies of the Authority.
• Oversee all governance and compliance issues related to Authority statements.
Job role:
• Oversee the activities of the Data Governance and Compliance department and the performance of team members.
• Collaborate with relevant work teams (eg: data engineers, data manager, data analysis team, data owners, etc.) to identify process improvement opportunities, recommend necessary improvements, and develop policies accordingly.
• Conduct reviews of policies and standards and obtain approval from the Data Manager.
Required qualifications and experience:
• Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related field.
• A minimum of 7 years experience.
