A unique opportunity has arisen for a graduate surveyor to join a highly respected residential valuation department in an established chartered surveying firm. The ideal candidate should have experience working in the UAE as a valuer or residential broker.
What this opportunity involves:
This role is based in our Dubai office and will involve a mix of valuation work for a range of top tier clients including banks, developers, lending institutions, owners and occupiers who rely on our advice to make financial decisions, assess risks and ensure they adopt the correct management of individual properties and portfolios. This role would suit an ambitious individual who is looking to join a team with an unrivalled reputation within the industry. Key responsibilities:
* Value residential property within the UAE. * Prepare detailed valuation reports and present valuation advice to clients. * Take day to day responsibility for the execution of instructions under minimum supervision. * Manage multiple instructions at the same time efficiently and effectively. * Assist with the development and maintenance of a strong client base. * Support an expanding team in its business development objectives and continued growth in revenue. * Collaborate with other departments internally to maintain market knowledge and cross-sell opportunities.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years’ work experience as a valuer or broker within the UAE. * UAE market knowledge is essential. * RICS accredited degree or undertaking APC would be preferred. * Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail. * Ability to maintain a positive attitude towards routine tasks. * Good interpersonal skills and an ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients. * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. * Proactive and should enjoy working autonomously and as part of a wider team. * Ability to adapt, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. * Excellent time management and organisational skills. * UAE driving licence and available vehicle. * Arabic speaking is not essential but would be advantageous for this role.
