Senior Structure Engineer

Gardinia General Contracting is looking to hire for the following position:
Senior Structure Engineer.
Requirements:
• Graduate Structural Engineer with min 15 years of GCC experience with reputed Main Contractors (Building Projects).
• Good knowledge of Dubai local authorities.
• Sound scientific, technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Commercial awareness.
• Good team working skills & ability to meet deadlines.
• Confidence, initiative and effective organizational skills.
Task & Duties:
• Reviewing projects documents and identifying the gaps/ differences in IFC drawings and highlight the discrepancies and missing design information and raise RFI.
• Take Lead in structural design engineering and keeping up to date with new developments.
• Design using various methods of calculations / software’s including but not limited to ETABS, SAFE, SAP, STAAD Pro.
• Prepare Value engineering reports and related structural calculations.
• Shop drawings & BBS preparation.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical & etc. in preparing shop drawings and on sites.
• Structural Design submissions, approvals and follow up with consultants and local authorities.
• Structural Reviews, for subcontractors submitted shop drawings, calculations, and soil reports.
• Technical Report preparation and other relevant official correspondence with consultant.
• Support multiple project with proper resource utilization.
• Site attendance/ working as may be required to support projects during the construction phase.
• Document project technical issues logs and maintain project technical library.
