Job Description:
• The Unit Head- Chemical shall be responsible for the overall activities in the Department and shall report to the Technical Manager.
• He shall be responsible for scheduling and monitoring all the daily activities in the laboratory.
• He shall ensure that the staffs working in the department are trained adequately to perform their duties in a satisfactory manner.
• He shall coordinate with the customer for clarification of any doubts related to all the testing and test results conducted by the department.
• Propose to the Laboratory Manager regarding any expansion plans and or resource requirements in the respective department.
• Coordinate with the Marketing Department for supporting customer inquiries related to the department.
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Department regarding calibration schedule, Internal Quality Control programs, and Staff Training.
• Attends the Management Review Meeting and presents the reports related to the activities in the laboratory testing and any expansion or improvement activities proposed.
• Ensure the reliability of the reports issued to the client and shall be authorized to sign the reports issued by the laboratory.
