In Grades 6-10 Students explore courses aligned to the UA AERO standards and from Grade 11 onwards students can follow the IB Diploma programme or the Advanced Placement (AP). Both lead to an American high school diploma.
Requirements:
• Confident in robotics, computer coding etc.
• Minimum two years post qualifying experience
• Bachelors in Education, or a DT degree and post qualifying teacher certification
• US Curriculum experience highly sought after
• IB curriculum experience highly valued - however teachers committed to student centred inquiry based learning may be considered
• Demonstrate outstanding communication skills
• Previous international experience welcomed
• Experience of teaching students with English as a second language
