We are hiring a Category Manager
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute product line strategies that meet or exceed sales and margin targets
• Analyze market trends and adjust purchasing strategies to meet customer needs
• Work closely with the Marketing and E-commerce teams to develop effective merchandising plans and promotions
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms and conditions
• Travel internationally to find new products and trends
• Create and implement promotional programs to drive sales and brand awareness
• Develop and manage inventory budgets and plans
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in category management or buying in the home goods industry
• Experience with purchasing and inventory management systems
• Ability to develop and execute effective merchandising plans and promotions
• Proven track record of achieving sales and margin targets
• Superior knowledge of the home goods market and trends
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
