L2 Network Engineer

Hiring L2 Network Engineer
Experience: 5+ years
Location: Dubai
Work Timings: Dubai Time Zone
Workdays: 5 days (Night Shifts included)
Responsibilities:
• Address user tickets regarding network related issues
• Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN)
• Maintain and administer networks and related computing environments
• Install and troubleshoot active and passive networks
• Setup of the leased lines, SD-WAN’s and configuring load balancer
• Configure, troubleshoot of NAT and PAT
• Configure and troubleshoot traffic shaping and optimization
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Static and Dynamic Routing by using RIP, OSPF, IGRP and EIGRP protocols
• Configure and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 network switches.
• Create, span, and configure VLAN and inter VLAN routing.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot of Wireless Access Points (Aruba, Meraki etc.,)
• Troubleshoot network and wireless connectivity of corporate users.
• Perform network monitoring, performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• Work with various network and performance monitoring tools
• Configuring and managing Access lists
• Monitor infrastructure remotely
Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in networking
• Hands-on experience in configuring and managing switching.
• Knowledge of Firewall operations and functionalities.
• Knowledge of both active and passive networking
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Clear understanding of access rules, NAT rules, policies in firewalls
• Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts
