Network Technician required
Work location: Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Outsourcing
Duration: 4 months (1st September 2023 - 31st December 2023)
Salary: AED 10,000
Responsibilities:
• Experience in Structured Cabling Systems, including cable pulling, termination, and testing (Fiber + Copper).
• Experience and Hand-on skillset on testing Equipment (Fluke, OTDR, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of ISP standards (FTTH, GPON, ADSL, ISDN, etc.).
• Knowledge of current industry standards (ANSI/TIA/EIA-568, ISO/EIC).
• Basic understanding of Network Equipment, Network Design, and OSI Layers.
• Hardware installation and support: PCs, LAN printers, badge printers, DVD burners.
• Configuring computer networks by installing network cabling, Wi-Fi Routers, Switches, and other equipment.
• System and office applications installation and support.
• First level end-user support: Cabling, Network, applications, operating system, printing.
• Performs logistical tasks – packing & unpacking; movement of equipment.
• Assist with Windows installation and troubleshooting, as required.
• Maintain the list of equipment installed.
• Keeping track of inventory of computer hardware such as monitors, keyboards, mouse, and other equipment.
• Update service records.
• Provide coverage based on a roster during Conference hours.
