Urgent Vacancy: Tender Officer
A Marine Organization providing reliable integrated marine services to the Oil and Gas Industry based in Dubai is looking to recruit a Tender Officer currently working in the Marine Shipping industry and candidates who are available in the UAE will be considered.
Required Experience:
• Commercial Coordination: Proficient in handling and coordinating various commercial aspects of our organization.
• Tendering Support: Provide assistance in tendering procedures, prequalification processes, marketing activities, administrative tasks, and the collection of market intelligence.
• Tender Management: Lead the tendering process, including bid preparation, evaluation, and submission, ensuring strict adherence to project requirements and deadlines.
• Client Interaction: Assist in addressing clients’ inquiries and clarifications related to bids.
• Vendor Management: Manage prequalification procedures and vendor qualifications.
• Market Monitoring: Monitor clients’ websites and supplier portals for tender announcements.
• Quotation Management: Aid in drafting quotations and maintaining a comprehensive database of inquiries received and quotations sent.
• Reporting: Assist in drafting reports relevant to the commercial department’s activities.
• Communication: Effectively communicate requirements to shipbrokers, ship-owners, and partners discreetly, following the guidance and instruction of the Commercial Director.
• Networking and Professional Development: Attend external meetings, exhibitions, seminars, and conferences for networking, client management, and additional training.
Experience
• Having comprehensive marine experience in GCC
• Preferably with experience in tendering for high-value contracts
• Engineering experience is a plus, but not required
