Job Summary:
As a Junior Accountant in MEP Contracting, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks, including managing accounting operations, computing taxes, preparing financial reports, and ensuring financial compliance. Your role encompasses various aspects of accounting, making it a diverse and exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting operations, ensuring financial compliance.
• Compute taxes and prepare financial reports, including handling VAT filings.
• Audit financial transactions to maintain accuracy and transparency.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data.
• Post journal entries and prepare various financial reports.
• Administer payrolls and analyze accounts to optimize costs.
• Manage payables and receivables, ensuring timely transactions.
• Conduct cost control and financial analysis to drive financial efficiency.
• Effectively manage PDC (Post-Dated Checks) and cost accounting.
• Perform bank reconciliations and supplier/customer reconciliations.
• Assist with office management, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Coordinate projects and optimize costs for financial efficiency.
• Produce financial statements and manage accounts, payroll, invoices, and LC’s.
• Showcase strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and independence in your work.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting.
Experience:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in MEP contracting company accounting.
Languages:
• Proficiency in English (preferred).
• Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Software Skills:
• Proficiency in Strong Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP software. experience).
Requirements:
• Immediate availability.
• UAE driving license (optional).
• Open to candidates holding visit visas or cancelled visas.
