Role Description
The First Academy School is seeking a full-time Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher for an on-site role. As a Homeroom Teacher, you will provide a high quality, personalized and well-rounded education. You will also work closely with parents, colleagues, and relevant school leaders to ensure student success, while creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, along with UAE Ministry of Education approved teaching certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a homeroom teacher for grade 2 or equivalent is preferred.
• Certification or experience in relevant areas such as teaching students with different abilities is desired.
• Experience in using technology for teaching purposes, preferably with SMART Boards, iPads and other educational technology.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents or guardians.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a diverse, multicultural environment.
