Senior Estimator Engineer
Min Experience: 5 years
Salary Offered: AED 7,500 – AED 10,000
Job Description:
• Understand the project and its requirements. Select and track important metrics. Visit project sites to gather information.
• Able to prepare detailed BOQ quantity take-off. Research construction documents and analyze specifications. Determine the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for construction projects.
• Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions. Prepare estimates to meet project submission goals such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, and assignment of members.
• Ensure relevant documents and budgets are submitted by the required timeline. Maintain project bid registers.
• Post-tender works: Able to compile actual works completed according to the tendered
• BOQ with respect to manpower and material, prepare justification for variances in actual vs budget.
• Maintain accurate logs of variations and additional works not identified in the BOQ.
• Ensure proper approvals are obtained for such variations and additional works.
• Maintain current records of material prices and labor costs.
• Source out subcontractors and vendors with respect to required specifications.
• Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders.
• Reasonable skills in research and proposal writing.
• Regular reporting to management and keeping clients informed on the project status.
• Mentor/train other members within the estimation team. Review the work of other
