Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Control (QC) Specialist with more than 3 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ISO 22000, FIRS (Food Import and Registration System), and Health Certificate applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with ISO 22000 food safety standards and maintain documentation.
• Oversee and implement quality control procedures throughout the production process.
• Handle FIRS (Food Import and Registration System) applications and ensure compliance with UAE food safety regulations.
• Prepare and apply for Health Certificates and other regulatory approvals as required.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Monitor and analyze raw materials, in-process, and finished product quality.
• Coordinate with government authorities (Dubai Municipality, MOCCAE, ESMA) for regulatory approvals and inspections.
• Investigate non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Issue formulation batches for production and cater production requirements
• Train production staff on food safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality control in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 22000, HACCP, FIRS, and UAE food safety regulations.
• Experience in handling Health Certificate applications and regulatory documentation.
• Ability to liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
