Job Title: Accountant
Overview
Wealth Tellers is looking for a hands-on Accountant to join our Downtown Dubai team. This role focuses on day-to-day accounting, accurate bookkeeping, and compliance tasks (VAT and corporate tax), using accounting software to keep financial records up to date and audit-ready.
Key Requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong foundation in accounting and bookkeeping, with practical experience in VAT and corporate tax compliance.
• Proven experience using accounting software to record transactions and produce reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a small finance team.
Primary Responsibilities
• Maintain daily bookkeeping, post journal entries, and reconcile ledgers.
• Prepare VAT returns and support corporate tax compliance activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare periodic financial summaries and reports.
• Use accounting software to ensure accurate, timely record-keeping and reporting.
• Provide documentation and support during audits and respond to queries from stakeholders.
Work Location
Downtown Dubai — on-site role.
