HVAC Lead Engineer - Oil & Gas

Summary:

Part of Oil & Gas Projects division HVAC Engineering team to work on O&G;Projects (Onshore & Offshore) in different countries. Support on technical selections of all Carrier Products & other products, preparing technical documentation, managing HVAC Engineering Team and Client Co-ordination.

Responsibilities:

• Managing HVAC Engineering team on all day to day projects requirements
• Review of Project Specifications, Architectural layouts & Tender Documents
• Preparing Heat Load Calculation by using HAP
• Work experience of FEED & Detailed design engineering
• Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
• Duct / Pipe sizing, Duct ESP, Pump Head Calculations and all design documents
• Developing HVAC Schematics, Installation Typicals & Handling Philosophies
• Providing support on Technical Selections of various Carrier & other products
• Knowledge of Chillers, Cooling Towers, AHUs, FCUs, Rooftop, CRAC units & VRF systems
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, DW, BS, NFPA and all other International Standards
• Preparing Technical Compliance and technical evaluation of vendors
• Equipment Data sheet and GA Drawing preparation
• Review of Ducting and Piping layouts from Auto CAD drawings
• Preparing Bill of Quantity for design and build jobs
• Knowledge of commonly used systems, solutions, practices & procedures within the HVAC field
• Client, Customer & Factory Co-ordination on all technical aspects
• Guiding and training the engineering team
• Any other official tasks that may be requested by line manager from time to time, as needed
