Project Summary:

The project is scheduled in phases consists of 13 different packages including the construction of a new building for Arrivals and Departures, expansion of the existing terminal, Apron works, increase in parking stands, Baggage Handling System and the development of the roads leading to the airport.  Parsons’ services include, but not limited to, design and scope management, project management, planning support services, construction management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate with client on HSE planning and execution issues during all phases of the project lifecycle.
Review and comment on contractors HSE plan and reports.
Prepare site audit reports, make and follow-up on recommendations.
Develop and conduct HSE training per work site and client requirements.
Implement HSE personnel competency assessments.  Monitor the safety performance of construction management team and contractors on site.
Participate in internal safety reviews and site audits/inspections. Prepare site safety reports.
Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and quality management system (QMS) requirements.
Witness testing as required by the contract and the job specifications and submit reports on the testing that was witnessed.
Prepare non-conformance reports and assist in developing corrective actions.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

المهارات
Requirements:

Must hold a B. Sc. in Engineering from a recognized university or college.
Minimum 10 years of experience in managing all HSE matters on large to mega infrastructure/building programs.
Has experience in airports (aerodrome) industry. GCC experience is preferred.
Must be fluent and be able to effectively communicate in both spoken and written English.
QA/QC experience required.
Additional certificates or qualifications in Health and Safety would be preferred.
