Main Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Ensures all practice sites consistently achieve desired clinical and management outcomes, including high degree of patient and physician satisfaction. Implements change, demonstrating the ability to motivate employees and follow through.
b. Has primary responsibility for multiple clinics operations in terms of appropriate staffing levels, productivity, schedules, and assignments. Optimizes clinical operations and patient flow to ensure quality of care provided to patients, applying hospital operations knowledge as needed to facilitate same.
c. Oversees schedule utilization and call distribution to maximize provider productivity. Conduct regular analysis to ensure that schedules are being utilized to the fullest potential resulting in increased patient access.
d. Leads efforts to create an environment of personalized service and engages our patients, staff, and physicians.
e. Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the healthcare facility
f. Replaces failing and outdated equipment and maintain adequate amounts of healthcare supplies.
g. Actively works with departmental staff and Physicians in developing strategies to ensure patient satisfaction consistently meets or exceeds organizational goals.
h. Seeks out service line growth opportunities and develops business plan.
i. Provides leadership to achieve a satisfied and competent employee work environment. Directs, delegates and oversees work efforts as appropriate to ensure the highest quality and best possible delivery of service. Hires, coaches, develops, reviews, disciplines and terminates staff as necessary and as per the approved delegation of authority.
j. Conducts regular staff meetings to review policies and procedures and operational issues. Assists Administrator with on-boarding of physicians in terms of sequencing and executing tasks/actions.
k. Manages inventory and product control process related to loss of product, recalls, short or excessive supply.
l. Monitors each location’s key operational indicators including financial and quality metrics. Assesses current performance and develops action plans to achieve optimal performance.
m. Implements training, monitoring and operations that assures high levels of compliance with ethical and legal business practices. Ensures all practices are in compliance with regulations.
n. Develops risk management frameworks including fire and safety.
o. Conducts analysis on all clinic operational related areas such as utilization, revenue enhancement opportunities, and cost-reduction opportunities across all practices.
p. Prepares monthly reports for finance team highlighting variances.
q. Ensures each assigned clinic operates in a cost-effective manner within budget.
r. Establishes and enforces benchmarks consistent with industry standards and monitors effectiveness.
s. Ensures appropriate staffing levels and skill sets relative to benchmarks and performance goals.
t. Develops operating budget for multiple physician practices/locations to include revenue projections and justification of expenditures in coordination with finance team.
u. Responsible for coordinating the front-end billing operations for assigned practices to ensure that appropriate procedures are adhered to and that accurate information is being collected and submitted.
