Attend briefing with the Camp Boss/ Purchase & Logistic Supervisor and receive instructions, feedback and discuss operational requirement, achievements and improvement.
Prepare monthly requisition for the next month supplies and forward it to the Superior.
Follow up orders to ensure timely delivery.
Control incoming supplies by checking vehicle temperature, brand, quality and quantity of goods received against the actual order.
Follow company’s receiving procedures while receiving the deliveries. Reject any unacceptable food or products and inform the concerned.
Place deliveries in their designated areas. Store perishable items immediately after the delivery
Strictly follow FPFO (First product First Out) method and maintain expiry dates as per rules and regulations of the contract.
Receive daily requisition from the Superiors and submit it to the concerned head for approval
Make daily issues of stocks to concerned units as per requisitions, approved by the Superior
Check and record temperatures of all chiller and freezers units. Report abnormality to the superior for immediate action.
Take physical inventory of stocks as per stores procedures and guidelines.
Monitor and maintain stock levels at all times.
Maintain daily stock records of receipts and issues. Verify entries against actual usage and physical count.
Prepare and maintain documents, reports and records as per company’s requirements and procedure.
Update ERP for various stock movement and transactions.
Create back up of all the entries in the ERP
Maintain Computer accessories in line with the given guidelines and inform any malfunctioning to Superior for remedial action.
Inform Catering Manager/Chief Cook about slow moving/non moving items, excess stock and potential spoilage.
Keep store area, freezers, refrigerators locked after use. Observe confidentiality in your area and keep unauthorized person away from the stores area.
Keep a set of master key in the camp office after closing hours for safe keeping and emergency purposes.
Arrange cleaning of store as per cleaning schedule and standards established by the company.
Arrange calibration of measuring equipment and thermometers at the given frequency.
Carry out daily and random inspections of the stores and report any non compliance and deviations of the procedures to the Superior.
Receive complaints and suggestions and resolve them promptly. Forward all complaints and suggestions to Superior for record, reference and action.
Attend QHSE tool box meeting / workshops with staff to promote QHSE practices.
Report all incidents/ accidents, fire, near miss, FAC, loss and damage to the Superior / HSE advisor immediately.
Ensure availability, correct usage and maintenance of PPE in store area.
Report all absenteeism and disciplinary cases to the Superior for necessary action.
Maintain personal and work place hygiene standard. Cooperate with superior in the random checking of hygiene standards.
Observe the various CCP’s throughout the Storage areas and carry out corrective actions in case of any non compliance or deviance from the system requirements.
Update and maintain various records and documents required by the Food Safety management system.
