Position Overview:
As Recruitment Manager you will perform implementation of HR Policies and Procedures in the functional areas and ensures that appropriate and suitable candidates are recruited for the various jobs available during vacancies and that the relevant Job Descriptions & Orientation is provided to them upon hiring and creating all relevant documents for the transfer of work permits in order to process residency transfer and the Job applicants database is maintained at all times within the company for future staffing as applicable.
Main Position Functions:
1) Strategy:
• Designs, develops and maintains a recruitment strategy and process of the organization.
• Identify the vacancy needs through yearly approved budgeted manpower or turnover.
2) Planning:
• Makes sure that CVs banks are created for all the positions in the company.
• Leads & Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures for decision making process.
3) Assessment:
• Review and evaluate applicants hired according to the established guidelines and designated job descriptions.
• Manage day-to-day operations reporting on all hiring activity.
4) Development:
• Plans & develop a structured onboarding & orientation program that meets the objectives set by the company.
• Designs the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source.
5) Talent Management:
• Review appraisal forms and reports and confers with management about format and improvements.
• Developing the recruitment team, develops successors and increases the value added by the team members.
6) Effectiveness &Measurement;:
• Establish & evaluate hiring effectiveness KPIs, dashboards and reports
• Assess the effectiveness of the recruitment tools & vendors provided.
• Assess the effectiveness of recruitment and Reduce Employee Turn Over
7) Benchmarking:
• Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Prepare and build grading system ensuring the positioning of all jobs according their grades and job families.
8) Business Acumen:
• Support the department managers in understanding the recruitment process across the Brands, and liaise with the Group recruitment team
• Lead and control cost optimization by aligning to budget guidelines
• Track budgets and negotiate contracts when required.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 7 years in Recruitment
Qualififcation Requirements:
PHRi, CIPD is a plus
Essential Competencies:
1. Experience in or knowledge of managing recruitment for large retail business.
2. Experience to manage Group level Recruitment across Kuwait & KSA.
3. Experience in the staffing industry or Corporate HR Staffing up to senior level.
4. Experience in sourcing and qualifying a high volume of candidates
5. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline
6. Strong knowledge of technology (Outlook, Web, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
7. Worked in a team environment that emphasized group contributions
8. Management skills in leading, coaching, mentoring and establishing goals.
9. Understanding of sourcing approaches and tactics
10. Influencing skills and practical creativity
12. Strong written and verbal/presentation skills
13. Ability to write client oriented communications e.g. emails, job descriptions
14. Proven ability to perform under pressure and under tight deadlines
15. Analytical oriented
