Responsibilities:
Work closely with buyers and other merchandisers to plan product ranges.
Work and communicate with buyers, suppliers, stores, and distributors.
Ensure that stores, shelves or websites are stocked with the right types and quantities of products.
Managing budgets (display, arrange, price, and rotate products in-store).
Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers (Predicting sales and profits).
Negotiating quantities and delivery time-scales.
Supervising and training junior staff.
Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake (Managing levels and distribution of stock).
Managing stock details.
Maintain store shelves by removing dated or damaged products.
Coordinate with stores to handling supply/production problems as they arise.
Set stock promotions/price reductions as appropriate.
Assess sales performance of different ranges.
Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data.

Requirements & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
3-5 years of experience working in retail or merchandising (mandatory).
Familiar with eCommerce platforms (mandatory).
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service.
May be required to travel to client locations (valid driver’s license may be required).
