Position Purpose The Senior Pricing and Proposal Executive’s main job purpose is to prepare price/cost volumes, pricing models, and support to the quoting and bid and proposal process for the operations team.
Below is a list of material responsibilities and essentials duties that must be completed to achieve the objectives of this position.
1. Responsible for assigned Bids and Proposals, including RFI’s, RFQs, RFP’s and a variety of informal requests, in alignment with Pricing and Proposal Team Leader.
. Responds to RFQ/RFP releases and other calls for proposals; Drives proposal development individually, in alignment with Team Leader.
Prepares and assists in the submission of proposals to include review and compliance, outlining, and follow-through on compliant and timely proposal submission.
Prepares cost and pricing proposals utilizing elements of cost provided by other departments in accordance with company pricing and approval policies.
Manages all proposal resource activities during the proposal phase and post-submittal activities including leading customer negotiation and Fact Find meetings as required.
Leads and organizes ongoing proposal meetings to identify and resolve problems and share information, when necessary.
Leads the assembly and production of a complete submission which reflects the winning strategy.
Manages assigned bids and proposals with dynamic priorities, in alignment with Team Leader.
Develop RFP questions that generate answers that help the company comply with the RFP and execute its pricing strategy.
Review all pricing data submitted by project staff and external entities for accuracy, completeness, consistency, reasonableness.
المهارات
. B.SC of Commerce, Economics or equivalent. A degree in Market Research, Business Administration or Statics would be preferable.
3-5 years of proven experience in a relevant role.
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
Understanding contract negotiations and bids as well as proposal development
Understanding the impact of pricing on profit margins
Competent in software programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
The ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
The ability to choose the right mathematical and financial methods or formulas to solve a problem.
The ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work needed.
