Job Title: IT Supervisor
Reports to : IT Manager
Key Responsibilities
Establishes, plans and implements the policies and procedures to support the operation of the Service Desk
Vendor Management
Identify, troubleshoot, solve and document network connectivity and performance issues.
Coordinate and assist the IT Manager and business teams in their related activities
Processing and troubleshooting the packages.
Integrating new and upgraded systems.
Developing technological procedural and operations manuals.
Manage time attendance machines and systems
Understanding of most recent computer system upgrades.
Monitoring systems operations and make recommendations as needed
Maintain IT policies and procedures for assigned area consistent with Institute policy
Develop Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)
Develop standard operating procedures and ensure team members follow industry standard ‘best practice’
Provide support and guidance to other team members
Manage all other incidents and user requests to timely resolution
Manage IT Audit
Manage and resolve issues with Microsoft, Solaris and Linux based operating systems
Researching complex issues with end user software and hardware
Develop and enhance guidelines to ensure all knowledge base documentation and troubleshooting procedures are current and accurate
Ensure timely and appropriate escalation, communication and closure of incidents having business impact
Measure and monitor Service Level Agreements
Provide daily, weekly and monthly Service Level Reports
Initiate the Problem Management process to review root cause analysis and drive continuous improvements by eliminating recurring incidents
Support and maintain effective relationships with business and 3rd party vendors
Creative and Flexible in approaching different situations
Previous supervisorial experience highly preferred
Review project documentation for operational sustainability via handover process
Monitors IT staff efforts in IT hardware and software support efforts
Complete performance evaluations (PEP) of staff assigned to the CJIS Training Units
Assign employees to various operations, supervise activities
Establish detailed schedules for the utilization of all information systems equipment to obtain maximum utilization
Understanding and experience with asset management and tracking
Perform Major Incident Management activities and be a point of contact for ongoing technical outages
Manage staff that upgrades and maintains a company’s computer systems, including databases, mainframe systems, data communication networks and software programs.
Manage IT team, assign tasks and arrange project schedules perform assessments on company systems to ensure proper operations and to identify any issues that need to be addressed.

Candidate Profile:
1. Requirement open to all nationals
2. University degree in BE\B. Tech Engineering or Computer Science (B.SC\BCA)
3. 3 to 5 Years in Similar Role
Knowledge of ERP modules.
Knowledge of Database – Oracle/ MS SQL server
Knowledge of Programming Languages
Knowledge of Reporting Tool
