JOB SUMMARY:-
Act as a lead for project controls department, manage and deliver a cost and schedule effective, high standard of project controls services to all internal and external clients.
Support the project manager with progress reporting including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and opportunities for improvement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Produce planning and cost deliverables in accordance with the project timetable from engineering, procurement, fabrication, pre-commissioning and commissioning data.
Prepare and coordinate the GEC Five Years Financial Plan; following and updating the same on Monthly/Quarterly bases.
Ensures all client projects are staffed with competent planning.
Review plans and provide Weekly Planning Exceptions Reports to Chief Executive Officer.
Coordinate with all project discipline to ensure the understanding of total project cost budget allowances and targets.
Work with all project disciplines to manage their teams in understanding of total project schedule needs and integration of schedule activities.
Responsible for total integration of project cost control and reporting activities.
Manage and identify areas of budget concern and potential impact on project financial performance.
Plan, organize and supervise the collection of data and issue o project cost reports and preparation of cost forecast.
Interface with project site management and client counterparts for specific planning and scheduling tasks.
Ensure project documentation are incompliance with the scope of work and reflect in planning and cost deliverables.
Supervise the competent performance of cost control activities and timely issue of reports.
Prepare, coordinate and supervise cost and scheduling presentations to company and client management as required.
Supervise and responsible for the development and accuracy of cost and schedule reports. Verify consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility.
Perform performance reviews and career counseling for the department staff.
Conduct review sessions on project status with project management and/or client, and highlight adverse schedule and cost variances for corrective actions.
Prepare and/or review contract change orders.
Coordinate with and respond to queries from internal and external clients.
Analyze and provide input to technical and performance criteria on Project Controls systems.
Coach, monitor, assist, and assign tasks to project controls team as well as provide support to Projects.
المهارات
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:-
Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Degree form recognized institute.
Experience with 12-15 years of experience cost Control, Planning or Estimating of multi-disciplined projects in MEP Industry.
· Proficient in using MS Excel & Project, Cost Software, Primavera etc.
Keeps up to date with the best practice in the field of Project Controls
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and interact positively at all levels of the organization
Strong problem solving, negotiations and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
