Netways is looking for an experienced Senior Linux System Engineer, professional in serving as a technical expert in planning, designing, implementing and supporting IT Infrastructure services. The role is to lead a team to build, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure on Cloud and on premise.
Job Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the delivery and operations of infrastructure systems
• Install, configure, test, document and maintain systems on Azure and on premise
• Participate in the design of system and network solutions
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• A deep understanding of Linux operating system
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Ensure infrastructure is optimized towards resources and cost, and systems are running without bottlenecks
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Contribute in developing the team skills
Experience and Skills:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in the field
• Linux expertise is mandatory
• Experience with Virtualization, storage or networking solutions
• Familiar with Disaster Recovery, High Availability, Redundancy and Scalability
• Experience in at least one Cloud Provider (Azure, AWS, OpenStack…)
• Experience in DevOps is a major plus
• Motivated to dive into new technology trends (e.g. Micro services, CICD)
• Teamwork spirit
