الوصف الوظيفي Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare monthly journal entries for accruals, amortizations, depreciation and adjustments in ERP system. Scrutinize the accounts, escalate and resolve issues. Prepare various reconciliations and maintain schedules for monthly,quarterly and year-end closing. Track and maintain fixed assets books. Monitor the recording of inventory transactions in ERP system. Support the manager in validating purchase orders, sales invoices, sales receipts, purchase invoices and payments. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely monthly financial closing process. Support Manager – Financial Accounting in the preparation of monthly financial statements. Assist with quarterly and year-end audits. Coordinate with ERP Consultant to improve reports in ERP system.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting. Professional qualifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, and/or other additional related certifications is a plus. Well-developed oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic preferred. Knowledge of financial reporting concepts and preferred business practices. Knowledge of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Knowledge of statutory requirements. Knowledge of Qatar Exchange (QE) and Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) reporting requirements. Skills in analyzing and interpreting financial records. Good planning and organization skills. Time management. Ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of Oracle, SAP, Peach Tree or other accounting software. Computer literate (Microsoft office). Minimum 3 years related experience in maintaining financial records preferably with finance leasing, property development or transportation industry.
