The College of the North Atlantic - Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Internal Audit Manager in the Internal Audit Department. Reporting to the Board of Trustees and the President. The Internal Audit Manager must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Internal Audit Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will plan and execute operational, financial, IT, and compliance related audits of CNA-Q and to provide effective recommendations for corrective actions. The incumbent will advise on internal controls and risk management to CNA-Q’s leadership and to the President.
Candidates should have an outstanding record of industry experience in finance or a related field, and posses the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of Internal Audit Manager. The successful candidate is responsible to contribute to the formulation of CNA-Q’s strategy, lead the development and implementation of the colleges Internal Audit’s strategy and the development of an annual internal audit plan.
Candidates will also need to provide effective advice and counsel to the Board of Trustees and President. Responsibilities include ensuring internal audit policies and procedures are aligned with the laws and regulations in Qatar and the State Audit Bureau, monitoring the Departments and Schools to ensure current audit programs are effectively implemented.
Candidates will be responsible to provide reports to the Board of Trustees, President and Senior Management on risk management controls and governance and to also establish audit and compliance controls and procedures in the college. The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for communicating compliance initiatives including written material and training programs to promote awareness and an understanding of compliance issues, laws and regulations.
Candidates will provide professional development support and perform periodic performance reviews for direct subordinates to contribute to the development of employees and must have excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, delegation and communications skills as well as the ability to act as a mentor to team members.

Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Audit or related field.
2 years of managerial experience.
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken English language.
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic.
Other Required Skills:
Strong leadership and technical skills with the ability to apply technical knowledge and provide sound comprehensive advice is required. A desire to achieve organizational success and to lead by example is required. A proactive can-do attitude to work and good time management is essential. The candidate should have the ability to anticipate change and effectively manage quality and risk at all times. Knowledge of Internal Audit Standards and rules and familiarity with Regulatory and Compliance Management is required. Commitment to positive relationship building and effective working relationships across all levels of the organisations is required. A Commitment to ongoing IT training and continuous professional development is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate explanatory communication and interpersonal skills and fluency in English language is required and Arabic is an asset.
